Counselors

Programs | FAQs

What will the counselor program cover? Who is it intended for?

Representatives from each university will provide updates on our admission processes and how our institutions are responding to COVID-19, but much of the program will be dedicated to answering counselors’ questions. We will end the program with an optional spotlight program, which will serve as an additional learning opportunity should you be interested and available.

These programs are intended for counselors at high schools and those who work with students through community-based organizations and not-for-profit educational outreach programs certified as 501(c)(3). They are not open to independent counselors.

How do I cancel my registration, or register for a different program?

After registering for an upcoming event, you should have received a confirmation email with the Zoom webinar link. Please check your spam, junk, and promotions folder for that email and contact Georgetown Undergraduate Admissions at guadmiss@georgetown.edu if you are unable to locate that confirmation email or register again.

Do I need to register for multiple programs?

All programs will cover the same material, so one program should be sufficient, though you are welcome to attend more than one session if you would like.

What accessibility accommodations can I expect?

Closed captioning will be available for our virtual programs.

Can I send this invitation or registration link to my colleagues?

Yes, please feel free to share this event registration link with your colleagues or refer them to the website for more information on future events.

Will the programs be recorded?

Unfortunately, due to changing policies, we do not record these events in case information changes. Feel free to reach out to our individual schools with specific questions.
